I’m interested in cultural expressions in aesthetics, which led me to train in both fine art and complete my doctorate in sociology. A core connection between my interests is how visual production is used to challenge social values over time.

I’m fascinated by the way the man-made built environment interacts with nature. My early work captured scenes of natural beauty and people with an underlying tension, echoing artists like Edward Hopper. More recently, my attention has shifted towards the human form, venturing into portraiture. Ultimately, my artistic pursuit is to craft images with a clear beauty underscored by a subtle disquiet.
